A small settlement exists in the mountains, almost invisible to the outer world. In the village, a girl's body was found near an old school, hanging dead. The girl's name was Kirishima Kaede, who confided herself to her childhood friend Kozue Aoi before the incident. Aoi was convinced that the death of Kaede was a murder, and decides to act to find the culprit. One day, a mysterious transfer student Minazuki Hydrangea appeared. Could she be somehow related to the murder case that Aoi is investigating?
