The term “ahegao” stands for a facial expression when a character feels absolute pleasure, almost always in a sexual context. Often used in hentai, manga, visual novels, and other adult artworks.

In Japanese pornography, there are a lot of words that describe ecstasy. In the western anime culture, though, we only use “ahegao” for simplicity.
